Terms of Service

By accessing themainline.site or any Mainline service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service. These terms govern all five Mainline surfaces: The Wire, The Lab, The Grid, The Stack, and The Forge.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. If you're using Mainline on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization.

Some surfaces (The Grid) require sign-in via emailed magic link. You are responsible for protecting access to the email address tied to your account. We are not liable for unauthorized use of your account resulting from your own email compromise.

Where applicable, we charge through Stripe.

• — The Forge: one-time purchase. Download links are issued by email and remain valid for one year. Refund within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked, by emailing hello@themainline.site.
• — The Grid: monthly subscription. Cancel anytime from your Stripe customer portal — your access continues until the end of the paid period. No partial refunds for unused time.
• — All prices in USD. Sales tax / VAT collected where required.

Stripe's terms apply to the payment relationship; ours apply to the use of the product.

Reports produced by The Lab are generated by an AI model from publicly available web data. They are for informational purposes only. We make no warranty as to accuracy, completeness, or suitability for any specific decision. Do not rely on a report as a substitute for legal, financial, or professional advice.

Some outbound links on The Stack pay Mainline a referral commission. We disclose this on every category page. Inclusion in our editorial picks is never sold; commissions don't influence what makes the list.

Don't use Mainline to:

• — Scrape, copy, or republish substantial portions of any Mainline product without permission.
• — Resell, sublicense, or redistribute Grid data, Forge downloads, or Lab reports.
• — Misuse the API or attempt to bypass rate limits, authentication, or payment.
• — Use the service to generate unlawful, defamatory, or harmful content about specific named businesses.
• — Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract underlying prompts or models.

We may suspend or terminate accounts for violation of these rules without refund.

Mainline retains all rights to the brand, design, written content, editorial selections, and underlying code. When you purchase a Forge playbook, you receive a perpetual, non-transferable license to use it within your business — not to resell, redistribute, or publicly share it.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mainline's aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these terms or the use of the service is limited to the amount you paid Mainline in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

You may stop using Mainline at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (IP, disclaimers, liability, governing law) will survive.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Exclusive venue for any dispute is the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with the new effective date and emailed to active subscribers / customers at least 14 days before taking effect.
